This new talk, based on her book, will take a journey through the twists, turns and tweaks of pattern making. It includes patterning with shibori as well as patterns from her own computer generated illustrations. All presentations are with PowerPoint, and Jane has her own laptop, projector and screen. Don't heistate to contact her should you wish to discuss contents, or to book a date. Textiles and Callishibori products are brought to every presentation. Open Studios 2012 Waveney and Harleston Art Trail June 23,24 June 30 July 1, July 7,8 Studios Open 11am - 6pm The Art Trail leads you round the studios and workshops of a collective of approximately 40 artists, through the countryside of the lovely Waveney Valley, its charming market towns and villages. The studios are no more than 10 miles from Harleston or Bungay, so you can follow the Trail on foot, by bike or by car. Harleston itself is a delightful town with The Harleston Gallery, incorporating Gurney's cafe/bistro, being the hub of the Trail. Showing the Art Trail's introduction exhibition it makes for a great meeting and starting point to a day of out and about art exploration. Many of the studio gardens are also open and the artists look forward to welcoming many new visitors, and old friends alike. Art Trail Calendar This new introduction for 2011 was so successful that it will be repeated for a 2013 calendar for sale during the 2012 Art Trail. The proceeds from the sales will go towards maintaining The Harleston and Waveney Art Trail, it's exhibitions and supporting it in it's future ventures.
