While indigo shibori is best suited for the summer months, shibori design and shibori workshops can be held anytime and the winter provides a good oportunity to prepare designs for the summer. If you would like to book a design day at Blueleaf an email or a 'phone call is all it takes for further information or to secure one or more days.

Small workshops ensure plenty of one to one tuition. Use of other dyes such as iron rust and fibre reactives etc are an option in some workshops. Jane's small library on textiles and design, shibori and dyeing is available for further research, as are videos and textiles.

The day begins at 9.30am for a prompt 10am start with a picnic style lunch around 1 o'clock and refreshements when required throughout the day. The day draws to a close round 5pm but you will not be disturbed if you are in full swing and wanting to resolve a project. There are a few steps up into the house and down into the garden.
